The Gaiwan Candle by MAHŌ Sensory brings together fragrance, contemporary art and traditional design in a distinctive collectible vessel.
Inspired by the Gaiwan, a traditional Chinese tea vessel, each candle reimagines its considered form through a collaboration with a Melbourne-based artist, pairing an evocative fragrance with an expressive design.
Designed and made in Melbourne, the collection celebrates the sensory experience of scent and the character of Australian creative talent. Once the candle has finished burning, the vessel can be repurposed as a decorative statement piece or incorporated into a contemporary teaware collection.
Available in four distinctive designs – Evergreen, Surreal Flower, Happy Hour and Kawaii Kids – each Gaiwan Candle offers its own interpretation of colour, memory and fragrance.
