Its slender solid wood structure supports a comfortable sleep platform, while the tall quilted headboard creates a soft, sculptural focal point.
The Ruché design combines the unusual with the traditional. Its solid wood structure contrasts with sophisticated quilting inspired by boutis, a traditional padded sewing technique. The interrupted stitching creates areas of tension and softness, allowing the fabric to gently curl and form Ruché’s distinctive undulating surface.
Tall, slender timber uprights contrast with the softness of the quilted upholstery, creating a refined balance of straight lines and welcoming curves. The elevated structure also gives the bed a light, architectural presence.
Handcrafted in France, the Ruché Bed reflects Ligne Roset’s expertise in combining considered materials with sophisticated upholstery.

Materials & Construction
The structure and legs are made from solid beech and reinforced with three rectangular-section tubular steel cross-members. The headboard is constructed from three layers of criss-cross slats.
The headboard cushion is made from polyurethane foam. The headboard and bed frame are quilted with 300 g/m² polyester and hyperflexible polyurethane foam. The sophisticated quilting is achieved using a programmed sewing robot, while the bed frame cover is removable.
Covering Options
Most plain fabrics can be used with Ruché, including velvets, wools, thick cloths, microfibres and leathers.
- Laco: Durable, ultra-soft velvet-look fabric: 72% cotton, 16% wool, and 12% polyester
- Harald: Tightly-woven 100% cotton velvet with a rich, matte finish
