Designed by Pierre Paulin for Ligne Roset, the Bonnie Footstool complements the sculptural seating collection reissued from Pierre Paulin’s original 1975 design.

Developed alongside the Bonnie Armchair, the footstool reflects the same softly rounded forms and distinctive button detailing that define the collection.

Its generous upholstered form provides a comfortable place to rest your feet, while also functioning as an occasional seat. The compact design allows it to be paired with the Bonnie Armchair or used independently within a living space.

Materials & Construction

The Bonnie Footstool features a generously upholstered structure designed to complement the soft, sculptural forms of the Bonnie seating collection.

The seat is formed with high-resilience foam and comfort layers, creating a supportive and comfortable surface. Its upholstery features the same carefully considered detailing that gives the Bonnie Collection its distinctive character.

Covering Options

The Bonnie Footstool is available in a carefully selected range of Ligne Roset upholstery options.

In keeping with the original spirit of the collection, plain covering materials are particularly recommended, including smooth leathers, nubuck, woollen fabrics and selected stretch jersey fabrics.

• Gentle: A knitted velvet with a 100 % New Zealand wool pile. Resistant to wear, 100 % natural and stretchy, making it the ideal covering material for unusual design shapes. Easy to maintain. Wool 60%, polyamid 20%, polyester 20%.
• Milla: A bouclé look fabric made of acrylic 29%, cotton 26%, viscose 13%, polyester 8%, linen 6%.
• Appa: A high-quality wool knit offering a good degree of stretch, ideal for covering settees with the very roundest of lines. Very good resistance to wear; easy to maintain. Polyester filling 60%, polyamid 11%, polyester 7%, elasthane 1%, wool 21%.
