The Pukka sofa, armchair and décor collection by Yabu & Pushelburg is a marvel of design. The organic, bulbous shapes and low profile fills a space with sensual comfort.
The series finds its roots in the great C&B period when Gaetano Pesce presented his UP50 collection in 1969. The collection paid homage to the humble sponge. Pesce had been fascinated by a sponge in the shower and the way it always sprang back into shape.
With Pukka, Yabu & Pushelburg thus take up this theme, adding a feminine design and soft and organic form to the Pukka seating. Furthermore, a footstool, occasional tables and rugs have joined the collection.
