Designed by LucidiPevere for Ligne Roset, the Païpaï Loveseat transforms the simple gesture of folding paper into a generous and enveloping two-seat design.
The folds shape the foam and define the contours of the seat and armrests. Inspired by the rounded shape of the traditional Pai-Pai fan, Païpaï has a distinctive silhouette that feels both sculptural and inviting.
Its high back, ultra-flexible foam and generous proportions create a comfortable cocoon for two. The flexible armrests add another dimension to the design, allowing the Païpaï Loveseat to adapt naturally to different ways of sitting and relaxing.
Païpaï Loveseat was designed as LucidiPevere’s first upholstered seating collection for Ligne Roset. The collection explores origami-like fold lines to create its distinctive enclosing form.

Construction & Comfort
The seat and back structure are constructed from mechanically soldered steel. The armrests use a technical fabric construction that provides flexibility, with a steel sheet connecting each armrest to the seat.
Elastic webbing supports the seat and back. High-resilience Bultex foam is combined with ultra-flexible polyurethane foam and layers of polyester quilting for supportive comfort.
A 660 × 300 mm lumbar cushion filled with goose feathers provides additional comfort. The loveseat is supported by slim Ø18 mm matt black steel legs.

The Païpaï Loveseat is available in a curated selection of Ligne Roset fabrics and leathers.
Recommended coverings include:
- Festa – Polyester 75%, cotton 10%, viscose 10%, linen 5%
- Harald – Tightly-woven 100% cotton velvet with a rich, matte finish
- Match – Cotton 50%, viscose 33%, linen 17%
- Canvas – Wool 90%, polyamid (nylon) 10%
- Selected leathers
