First introduced in 1976, the design reinterprets the classic English Chesterfield with generous proportions, soft curves and an inviting all-foam construction.

Fully quilted upholstery, pinched corner seams and a distinctive nest-shaped seat create a relaxed, sculptural aesthetic. Beneath the upholstery, four densities of premium high-resilience foam provide exceptional comfort and long-lasting support. The result is a footstool that feels soft and welcoming while maintaining its shape through everyday use.

Handcrafted in France, the Kashima Footstool is available in two sizes and a wide selection of fabrics and leathers. It can be used as a footrest, occasional seat or standalone ottoman, bringing comfort and timeless French design to any living space.
