Description

A poetic fusion of heritage and modernity, the Baton Wardrobe Stand by Lyndon Neri & Rossana Hu for Wittmann pays tribute to the spirit of the Viennese Secessionist movement.

Its refined, architectural presence reinterprets historic design principles for contemporary living – drawing inspiration from pioneering figures such as Josef Hoffmann and Adolf Loos.

Sculptural yet purposeful, the Baton Wardrobe Stand consists of three distinct elements: a solid marble base, slim powder-coated aluminium rods, and a bowl-shaped tray top. The result is a balanced and tactile piece that brings form and function.

Designed to accommodate scarves, jackets, or children’s clothing with ease, its upright height of 143 cm ensures practical use while making a design statement. A shallow tray at the top offers a place for smaller items like keys or sunglasses, keeping daily essentials within reach.

The visual language shifts subtly as the eye moves upward. The lower portions of the rods are wrapped in precision-stitched leather, while the upper segments are left clean and powder-coated.
