Designed by Luca Nichetto for Wittmann, the Andes Upholstered Bed is conceived as a soft, enveloping form that brings comfort and elegance to the bedroom. The headboard and bed base coalesce as a single entity, creating a cohesive silhouette with the refined lines of the Andes Sofa.

Appearing to float above a light, painted metal structure, Andes creates a serene and plush setting for rest. Its organic form is defined by distinctive double piping, inspired by Josef Hoffmann’s Haus Koller chair, which traces the bed’s perimeter with handcrafted precision.

The headboard and bed base cover is sewn from a single piece, creating a seamless appearance that enhances the impression of a unified, sculptural form. Thoughtful upholstery and a supportive pocket-spring construction complete this considered design.

Materials & Construction

The Andes Bed combines a wood construction with layered upholstery for a comfortable, supportive finish.

The headboard features a wood construction with a polyfoam sandwich construction, covered in fleece. The piping is finished to match the upholstery cover or, in standard colour variants, in leather.

The bed base features a wood construction with pocket springs, polyfoam and fleece covering. The insert substrate is a boxspring.

The standard feet are finished in black-grey powder coating. Brass-satin matte feet are available on request.
