Description

The Piano Armchair by Sika Design is an elegant wicker chair of Danish design.

The simple woven design features a comfortable seat and armrests. The detailed wicker windings make the chair a cosy piece of furniture in any home.

This Piano Armchair is handmade in Indonesian rattan which is one of the world’s most sustainable materials for furniture production. The seat and backrest are woven by skilled wicker makers.

Sika Design uses carefully selected rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. Rattan is a remarkably strong and indestructible material.

This chair forms part of the Sika Design Originals collection, which celebrates key wicker furniture pieces created from original 1950’s and 1960’s design sketches.

Cushions for the Piano chair are sold separately.
