Designed by Christian Werner for Ligne Roset, the Prado 2 Large Settee brings a refined new expression to the acclaimed Prado collection.

Its generous proportions, soft quilted seat and relaxed design create an inviting centrepiece for contemporary living spaces.

The new Prado 2 replaces the original bed-settee function with a sleek, single-piece quilted seat. Its ultra-soft construction provides exceptional comfort without the need for multiple stacked cushions. The settee can also be enjoyed without cushions, allowing its clean, quilted form to take centre stage.

The Prado 2 Large Settee reflects Christian Werner’s focus on freedom, comfort and the way people naturally use furniture. Its spacious seat can be enjoyed in a variety of relaxed positions, while the weighted back cushions feature an anti-slip system to help keep them securely in place.

The Large Settee is generously proportioned at 245 cm wide and 125 cm deep. Handcrafted with carefully considered materials and detailed quilting, Prado 2 brings a relaxed yet sophisticated presence to contemporary interiors.

Materials & Construction

The Prado 2 Large Settee structure is constructed from three-layer crossed webbed chipboard panels clad in 40 kg/m³ polyether foam. The seat uses high-resilience Bultex polyurethane foam in two densities for enhanced comfort and support.

The back cushion combines injected foam moulded onto a metal insert with elastic webbing. It is finished with compartmented new goose feather filling comprising 10% down and 90% feathers, plus polyester quilting.

The lumbar cushion is filled with new goose feathers, while the optional armrest cushion uses high-resilience Bultex foam with polyester quilting. The quilted cover is sewn crosswise, with a single central seam positioned on the settee structure. The base is now constructed as a single piece.

Covering Options
Prado 2 is available in selected textile coverings, with specific fabrics recommended for the quilted construction:

• Festa: A selected textile covering recommended for Prado 2. polyester 75%, cotton 10%, viscose 10%, linen 5%
• Cloud: Velvet looking fabric: acrylic 56%, polyester 44%
• Laco: Durable, ultra-soft velvet-look fabric: 72% cotton, 16% wool, and 12% polyester.
• Please note: Leather is not suitable for Prado 2 due to the highly fragmented quilting. Some fabric options may also be limited for the base.
