Designed by Soda Designers for Ligne Roset, the Desdemone Bed – Low Headboard rethinks the bed as more than simply a place to sleep.
Its upholstered headboard evokes the shape of a protective shell, creating a comfortable setting for reading, watching television or relaxing in bed.
The continuous relationship between the upholstered headboard and base gives the Desdemone Bed a remarkably light, cocoon-like appearance. With its low 775 mm headboard, this version has a refined, understated profile that suits contemporary bedrooms.
The designers conceived Desdemone as a place of protection and serenity. Its soft upholstered form creates an inviting retreat, while the generous headboard encourages the bed to become the centre of the bedroom.

Materials & Construction
The structure is constructed from tubing and multi-ply panels, covered in polyurethane foam and polyester quilting. The headboard combines tubing and metal mesh with polyurethane foam and polyester quilting.
The cover features an over-stitched baguette stitch and an invisible zip at the rear of the headboard. A central seam is included on the inside face of the headboard in the leather version.
